Marilyn Bantatua, RMT

Marilyn originally came from the Philippines. She was educated in her home country and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. Her life’s journey led her to live and work in Hamburg, Germany for 16 years. In 2003, Marilyn and her family came to Canada as immigrants and made Orillia their home. Since then she took courses and acquired her certification as a Personal Support Worker. While working as a PSW, she continued her education and became a certified Aesthetician and Reflexologist. Her compassion and desire to help people inspired her to pursue further education.

She went back to school and graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy at Georgian College. She also trained and became certified to provide Hot Stone Massage, Bamboo Massage, Reflexology and other techniques used in East Asian Medicine such as Cupping,  Gua Sha and Acupuncture.

Marilyn is a results-oriented person, she is committed to providing a clinical therapeutic massage incorporating her skills in deep tissue massage, fascial manipulation, joint mobilization, active release and other treatment modalities to help her patients achieve their goals for recovery. 

She strongly believes that our body is capable of many things including self-repair especially when cared for by the right professional.
